Nightbirde receives Golden Buzzer for her performance on America’s Got Talent

Strength can come in many shapes and forms. Jane, who goes by the name of Nightbird when she sings, shows that her strength is choosing to be happy despite the circumstances.

When she went on America’s Got Talent she told the judges that she had cancer. But she wanted them to know that she was okay with that because she wanted people to know she was more than her bad parts.

The judges were already quite stunned with her story and were even more delighted to see such a happy smile on Nightbirde’s face. What they didn’t expect was how much they would be moved by her performance.

Nightbirde's Golden Buzzer moment on America’s Got Talent

Singing an original piece called, “It’s Okay,” Nightbirde gives it her all, putting out her heart for the world to hear. The song is short, sweet, and powerful. The lyrics speak about how it is fine to be lost, that’s just how life is.

During her performance, Nightbirde looked like she was on the verge of tears but she powered through. The judges were in awe, and Sofia Vergara did tear up.

Simon Cowell was surprised by how emotional he got. He couldn’t help but give her the Golden Buzzer which caught Nightbirde completely by surprise. Simon went on stage to give her a big hug.

Nightbirde shares that she has a 2% chance of survival, but 2% is not 0%. It is something, and she wishes people knew how amazing it is. She leaves the venue with nothing but a smile on her face.
