Joker’s Wild barbershop quartet reward us with a beautiful performance

Joker’s Wild begins their performance by indicating that while life may have rewards, it also comes with many challenges. With this, they give the nod to the song that is to follow.

“It Is Well With My Soul” is a Christian gospel hymn written by Horatio Spafford and composed by Philip Bliss. Spafford was inspired to write the lyrics after many traumatic events in his life.

Even though the inspiration of the hymn was centered on trauma, the words have helped many. In recent years, the famous Australian Christian megachurch, Hillsong, covered the gospel song. The proceedings went to victims of a flooding event in Queensland, Australia.

Joker's Wild barbershop quartet

Joker’s Wild is a barbershop quartet that was formed in the nineties. The classic members of this world champion quartet are tenor Steve Lannacchione, lead John Clunies, baritone Steve Legters, and bass Dave Kindinger.

The barbershop quartet is belting out this classic tune at the Barbershop Harmony Society’s International Convention. The heartfelt performance reminds us that he’s always there even when we may feel distant from God.

After seemingly losing all in his life, Spafford put pen to paper and wrote: “It Is Well With My Soul” as a testament to his hardships. The classic hymn brings peace in times of trouble.

The voices of Joker’s Wild fill the stage with their strong emotions. They do an excellent job as they harmonize together and take us to church with this powerful hymn.
