Sightseeing is one of the favorite activities for any tourist. Back in the day, people packed their cameras, camcorders, and pretty much anything else they could find. It was all about taking pictures. It kind of still is, but now, all you need is your cell phone and a few memory sticks, and you’re ready to go.
Of course, when we travel to a new place, we hope for, if not expect, everything to go smoothly. We tend to think that the places we are visiting are “safe,” and that we are never going to encounter any danger. I guess it all depends on the type of place you’re visiting, and how well you do at planning.
The following video has one of those cases that most tourists will not get to experience (fortunately). It all started with a French couple that decided to do a little sightseeing. They were looking at the beautiful country scenery and getting to admire some of the ponies that could be seen wandering around a paddock.
When we think of ponies, the first thing that pops in our minds is a laid-back, easy-going, and friendly animal. After all, they are used to give piggy-back rides to children, right? Well, this French couple was about to see them with different eyes.
As they were walking along a trail, they saw something weird. An animal seemed to be running their way. When he got close, they realized the animal was a wild boar, and he was running full-speed at them. Before they knew it, the boar charged at them and got a few feet from where they were.
But that’s when two ponies came to the rescue. They came out of nowhere and started chasing the boar away. The French couple was so grateful that the ponies had come to their rescue. When the boar lunged at them, they really didn’t know what to do, they just froze. They managed to get everything recorded, so get ready to watch one of the greatest ‘rescues’ of the year.
