Hilarious Great Dane Puppy Isn’t A Fan Of His Baker Dad’s Wake-Up Time

His daddy says, “We own a bakery shop and that means we start our day pretty early, but even he knows it’s too early to wake up!!”

Dogs share our lives in so many ways because they share our love. Take for instance this adorable Great Dane puppy named Thor.

Thor is a working dog. Oh, who are we kidding? He might think he’s a working dog, but being a young puppy means more play than work goes on in his young life. Still, when your mom or dad says, “rise and shine,” they have a good reason. Especially when you’re a young puppy.

Like bakers since time immemorial, they have to get up really early and get to work so their customers will be able to start the day with nice, fresh breadstuffs. For these bagel shop owners, “early” can mean 3:30 in the morning!

They have an adorable Great Dane puppy named Thor. Although still just a youngster, he’s already bigger than a lot of dogs. We don’t know what role, if any, Thor plays at the bagel shop, but like any child, there are things to do in the morning.

The sleepy dog doesn’t want to cooperate. His dad tries his best. “Hey, Thor! Wake up. Talk to me. Wake up, Thor! You’ve got to get up, Thor! You have to get up. You cannot lay down all day. You gotta get up. I don’t want to hear it. Time to wake up. Let’s go.” And so on, but to no avail, despite patting the bed, shaking Thor’s paw, and rubbing and patting his belly.

Thor rolls around a bit and makes a series of incredibly funny noises that hardly require translation: “I’m sleeping in, mister!” At one point, the sleepy dog looks like he’s going to get up. Dad exclaims, “That’s a good boy!” And then, of course, Thor flops right over.

We leave it to you to decide who’s being more stubborn, Thor or his human dad. In any case, it’s no wonder this video has 22 million views and counting.
