In the recent episode of TBN’s “Better Together,” seasoned voices like CeCe Winans, Nicole C. CeCe Winans opened up about the common feeling among women that they need to carry their burdens alone. Kalley Heiligenthal shared a snippet from her life journey, cautioning against speeding through life to reach our destinations. In our rush, we often overlook the joy and growth that come through the process, and most importantly, the opportunity to deeply connect with Jesus. As it is written in Philippians 4:6, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
Both Nicole and CeCe discussed the importance of aligning our earthly goals with God’s divine purpose for our lives. Proverbs 16:3 says, “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.” These women advocate for holding our dreams with open hands, letting God’s will mold them.
Finally, Nicole offered a last piece of advice for viewers, to let God orchestrate their lives, to exchange human timetables for divine plans. She compared a life rushed by our human schedule to a half-baked, messy cake. But with God’s timing, everything reaches a state of divine perfection. Indeed, as Ecclesiastes 3:11 reveals, “He has made everything beautiful in its time.”
