Due to the continued spread of the coronavirus, the vast majority of people are staying inside. After several weeks of being cooped up, it can be easy to run out of ways to entertain yourself. Thankfully, a talented musician is keeping people of all ages engaged during the quarantine.
While Youtube is already a popular way to pass the time, 36-year-old Wes Tank started making videos to help entertain others. We all know some of the iconic books and poems by Dr. Seuss. Well, Tank puts a unique spin on “Green Eggs and Ham” by rapping it.
Children generally adore this book, but it has a special place in the hearts of adults as well. Wes is a Milwaukee-based multimedia artist who has been turning these classic stories into groovy rap tunes for quite some time now.
Wes doesn’t stop with Dr. Seuss either. He plans on working with pieces from Shakespeare and Lewis Carroll in the future; he has to find the perfect music first. We love that people are staying creative and helping others smile during these trying times. Thanks, Wes.
