It is difficult to sing a Whitney Houston song with all those long notes that define her signature style. Imagine being pregnant and pulling off a flawless rendition of one.
On X Factor Global, one contestant astounded the judges by taking the stage looking absolutely radiant and ready to pop. She gave a confident smile as the music began to play.
The judges recognized the song and seemed hesitant at her choice of music given her current state of affairs. However, when she opened her mouth to sing, they were floored.
Without breaking a sweat or sounding winded whatsoever, she sang Whitney Houston’s hit song “I Have Nothing.” Sweetly, she caressed her belly as she sang the lullaby to her unborn child.
Mothers in the audience hugged their own children, understanding the beautiful tribute this woman was giving to her baby. The crowd was on their feet cheering before she even finished singing.
One of the judges even got out of her chair and ran onto the stage to give the pregnant woman a big hug. The gift this woman shared with the audience was unbelievable.
What a blessing to see such life and passion from a mother-to-be. Even though pregnancy can knock the wind out of you, she found the strength to sing out her love loud and strong!
