A uniquely Irish version of ‘We Wish You A Merry Christmas’

“We Wish You a Merry Christmas” is a fantastic song from the album Home for Christmas. This is Celtic Woman’s seventh album released recently and was their third Christmas album.

Home for Christmas album has some of the most talented vocalists Méav Ní Mhaolchatha, Lisa Lambe, Susan McFadden, and fiddler Máiréad Nesbitt. Recently the group performed this beautiful song on stage at The Helix in Dublin.

Home for Christmas: Live from Dublin, the unique concert was recorded live at The Helix Concert Hall in Dublin. The audiences who came to see the girls perform were invited guests. Chloë Agnew announced that she would leave the Celtic Woman group; thus, Méav Ní Mhaolchatha joined the current singers. The stage was beautifully lit with red lights that represent the color of Christmas.

The beautiful Christmas tree looked attractive as it was decorated with red lights. It matched the background, which had a beautiful red color. The audiences enthusiastically waited for the performance to begin.

The singers soon stepped on the stage for the fantastic performance. The girls were dressed in sparkling white gowns with grey embroidery work done on it. Each girl looked stunning.

The group members of the Celtic Woman were accompanied by a large choir and orchestra. As soon as the girls started the performance, the audience welcomed them with a massive round of applause. Máiréad looked cheerful and confident while playing the violin with a smile. The girls were singing the song with perfect synchronization, and the orchestra and the choir made the performance livelier.

Happiness and joy had flooded throughout The Helix concert hall when Celtic Woman sang the inspiring version of the Christmas carol. The song received a huge round of applause from the audience.
