Glen Campbell was known all over the world for being one of the best country music stars around. Though we lost this incredibly talented man to Alzheimer’s disease in 2017, his grandkids continue his memory with their version of “Gentle On My Mind.”
Thankfully, Glen was able to live out his final years comfortably in Abe’s Garden, located in Nashville, Tennessee. To honor what would’ve been his 82nd birthday, his daughters Ashley and Shannon turn to Abe’s Garden for a special event.
They teamed up with other family members to give the residents and staff a personal performance. Singing “Gentle On My Mind” by their father, Ashley and Shannon lead the tune. They know that their dad meant as much to the world as he did to their family.
The fact that they all got together to give back to the facility is truly beautiful. We’re sure Glen would’ve loved it and was smiling down singing along with everyone. We’ll never forget the impact Campbell had on the country music industry.
