A hilarious father-daughter team went viral for the second time with their dance and lip-sync routine in a cramped kitchen the world got to know a couple of years ago.
A youth coordinator and digital artist Ali Hoffman and her father, motivational speaker Michael Hoffman seem to have a knack for making good-spirited genuine family fun videos.
The first one happened when Dallas, Texas, was engulfed in a big ice storm, and no one could go out. This time around, the quarantine occurred, and again they were stuck at home.
“The one thing everybody likes about the video is it’s just pure, unadulterated joy,” said Michael. And while having fun, they also managed to reach out to people by issuing a #2K20QuarantineChallenge to the viewers.
A dance challenge sparked a worldwide craze, and responses started pouring in. Even Oreo reached out and asked them if they can use the video in their newest promotional campaign.
The song titled ‘Hold my Hand’, sung by Jess Glynne, is used for the impromptu dance extravaganza. The song’s lyrics are very current, and both Ali and Michael felt it reflects what the world is facing now.
While the video doesn’t reflect the professionalism of dance moves, it does convey the joy of movement and positive vibrations in the most positive kind of way. This is what we all need now.
