Antiques Roadshow is an American television program that features local antiques owners bringing in their items to be appraised by experts. The video below features an amazing event from one of the seasons. When the show was held in Tucson, Ted brought in a blanket that had been in his family for many years. Donald Ellis, the appraiser, was shell-shocked when he saw what Ted had brought along. In fact, his blanket is said to be one of Roadshow’s “greatest finds”.
Ted’s “blanket” was a mid-19th Century Navajo Ute First Phase Blanket. The blanket is extremely rare and is estimated to be worth $350,000 to $500,000. When Ted finds out about it, the reaction on his face is really genuine and adorable.
