A father is one of the most important people in a child’s life. For a daughter, he is the first guy she ever loved. And for a father, she is always going to be his little princess. So when he has to “give his princess away”, it can be hard – very hard. We don’t seem to realize it, but this gesture is remarkable indeed.
This dad had trouble explaining to his daughter how much she meant to him. So he did something very beautiful. Nicole Cortez posted this video showing her dad singing “I Loved Her First” by Heartland.
Nicole is a sign language interpreter so imagine her surprise when she found out that her dad had learned sign language for this amazing performance.
