Raising a child is more than a full-time job. While it can be gratifying for parents, it comes with many new and stressful responsibilities. Now imagine multiplying that load by five.
That was what this big family had to contend with when they had quintuplets. As you might imagine, this made for a busy schedule. This is how an average day in their busy household looked.
At the beginning of the day, if it was a weekend, the older siblings of the quintuplets got to spend a little time with their little siblings, getting to know all their eccentricities.
Some days, this meant helping their parents feed the babies. One particular baby, Lincoln, was a hard sell on food. Naturally, that meant that he ended up getting sick after they fed the babies.
Fortunately, his dad, Skyler, came to the rescue and helped him take a bath to clean up his little mess. Most days, they bathe their babies once every couple of days, but Lincoln got a bonus.
Skyler and Jamie, the mother of the quintuplets, went through around 30 bottles and 30 diapers a day. Fortunately, they had the help of their family, church family, friends, and neighbors to help them make it through.
Skyler and Jamie’s family was the perfect example of the saying, “It takes a village.” With their wide network supporting them, these five babies had happy, healthy futures ahead of them.
